Kim seems kinda born to do this. It’s something I can’t put my finger on. I really love working with her. I’m starting to believe that there is hope for someone like me to just get unstuck.

Work with Me

I would be honored to accompany you as you discover Focusing for yourself.

Offerings

  • One-on-one Focusing sessions (currently at a special reduced rate while I complete certification).
  • Online sessions available—so you can learn from the comfort of your own space.

What to Expect

Each session is a guided exploration. I’ll be there to gently accompany you as you turn inward, learn to recognize the “felt sense,” and develop the ability to be with your experience in a compassionate, life-giving way. Over time, you’ll gain the skills to practice on your own, carrying this resource with you into daily life.

What Focusing Feels Like

Sometimes the best way to understand Focusing is through the small moments it makes possible. Here are a few glimpses:

  • A woman arrives at her session feeling overwhelmed, pulled in many directions. As she pauses and turns inward, she notices a tightness in her chest that feels like a knot. Together, we stay with it gently. Slowly, the knot begins to soften, and with it comes an unexpected sense of clarity: “I need to say no to this project.” Relief washes through her body as her next step becomes clear.
  • A man carries a long-standing self-critical voice that tells him he’ll never be enough. Instead of arguing with it or pushing it away, he learns to listen. To his surprise, the voice softens when it is finally acknowledged. Beneath it, he discovers a part of himself that longs to be safe and accepted. A tenderness he never expected begins to emerge.
  • Someone sits in silence with something she cannot put into words—just a vague, heavy sense of unease. By making space for it, she notices an image rising of standing at a crossroads in a fog. As she gives it her attention, the fog slowly lifts, and she senses the faint outline of a path opening before her. “I don’t know all of it yet,” she says, “but I know which way I’m meant to turn.”

These moments are not dramatic on the surface, yet they can be life-changing. Focusing often unfolds quietly, like a small light appearing in a darkened room—enough to see the way forward.

"Kim has an innate ability to connect the dots in a focusing session when the various 'parts' come out and make themselves known. This takes a lot of intuition and patience, which Kim definitely possesses!"

"Kim and I are colleagues. When a dear friend, a hospice nurse and chaplain,

asked for a referral to experience Focusing, I suggested Kim because

I knew she would respect my friend's depth and experience."
